The European Jersey is back!

Great news! Our very own European Football Jersey is back on sale! 🇪🇺 🥳
Available in women and men’s sizing, per popular demand.
Show the world your European spirit! 💪

We at WhyEurope believe that, for Europe to flourish, we need Europeans to be proud, vocal Europeans. But how do you show your European spirit? 🤔

🇪🇺 With an all-European sports Jersey! 🇪🇺

Up until a few years ago, there was barely any European merchandise out there available. That’s why in the summer of 2017, one of our members came up with the idea to create the first ever European Football Jersey. Through a successfull three week campaign on Kickstarter, we sold 500 jerseys to our fellow Europeans. In 2018 we ran a second campaign – it sold out within 48 hours.

  • Since 2019, we have run a continuous online store, to accomodate all customers’ interested.
  • In 2020, we opened the store on Europe Day, May 9.
  • For 2021, we have limited stock so get your European jersey while it is still available! 😉

When will I get my jersey?

You’ll be able to buy the jersey until we are sold out. We currently only accept PayPal payments.
Once your purchase is confirmed, we then ship it directly to you. Please keep in mind that depending on where you live in Europe, you will receive it between one and four weeks.

Where does the money go?

We buy the jerseys with customized printings for 31€ from a trusted sporting fashion retailer. We sell them from 36.00€ (that includes the 4€ shipping cost, to which we add 0,5€ per Jersey to cover our transaction fees, VAT non included). So what happens with the difference?

First, we have to cover fixed costs of the development process.

Second, you also might have noticed that we have raised shipping costs: DHL (who we are shipping with) raised their shipping costs for small packages and shipping within the EU in 2019, therefore, this was unfortunately necessary.

What’s left goes to WhyEurope e.V.: We’re all working on a voluntary basis. Therefore 100% of the money will go into pro-European campaigns, more specifically into social media advertising and the event organization as well as member meetups.

You can be assured that the money is in good hands and will be fully spent on the project. If you would like to receive more information, you can always contact us at jersey@whyeurope.org.

We love to see proud Europeans sporting their European Jersey!
